One list, five angles.

MUA needed a cold outreach sequence for Destination Management Companies. Instead of one email, five separate angles were written against the same offer — a free workplace assessment — to see which entry point actually moves a cold B2B reader.

Angle 1 — Pressure

Opens on a disengagement statistic, then names exactly what it costs the reader — turnover, morale, growth — before the offer appears. The ask only shows up once the problem is undeniable.

Margin note Cold B2B leads don't want a "tool" pitched at them first. They want the problem named accurately — proof you understand it before you offer the fix.

Angle 5 — Story

Instead of a stat, opens on the felt experience of leading a team — the constant tradeoff of where to spend limited time and energy. Narrows to one recommendation before offering the assessment as the first step.

Margin note When a prospect has already seen every stat-led pitch, a story-led open resets their attention — it reads as a person talking, not a template.
